Paullina, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Six of the seven individuals inside a car that rolled near Paulina Sunday night were transported to the hospital with varying injuries. They were all from Chicago.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s department says it appears 30-year-old Wuilder Montoya of was Northbound on Netlle Avenue around 11pm, failed to stop at the Highway 10 intersection, ran into the Northeast ditch, and rolled. He received minor injuries.
44-year-old Jonathon Falcon and 24-year-old Odriana Gonzalez were ejected and received serious, incapaciting injuries.
33-year-old Edison Reinosa Pacheco had to be extracted from the vehicle and received serious, incapacitating injuries.
30-year-old Victor Herrera was ejected and received minor injuries.
The front seat passenger, 39-year-old Anna Prieto received serious, incapacitating injuries.
30-year-old Humberto Guiterrez received minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
Montoya was charged with failure to stop, filature to maintain control, no proof of insurance, and driving without a license.
