Milford, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Okoboji School District has narrowed its search for a new superintendent to three, and two are familiar names in the Corridor.
They are former Spencer High School Principal Will Dible – who left last year to become a Superintendent in the Alburnett School district in Linn County; Sheldon Superintendent Cory Myer – whose district has won both state and national acclaim for student achievement; and Jon Mendoza – who serves as Superintendent of the Crestview School in Clive.
The school board was presented with a list of fourteen applicants by Grundmeyer Leader Services one week ago.
Dible, Myer, and Mendoza are scheduled to be in the district Monday for interviews with stakeholder teams and the board. The job might be offered to one already next week for the school year that begins July 1st when current Superintendent Todd Abrahamson retires.
