Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Eighteen law enforcement agencies across Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, Kossuth, O’Brien, Osceola, and Palo Alto Counties make up the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force.

Clay County Sheriff Chris Raveling compiles the yearly stats.

Raveling tells Northwestiowanow.com there were more weapons charges in association with drug cases in 2024.

Surprisingly the Sheriff says despite a national epidemic, there have been no reports of Fentynal showing up in Northwest Iowa yet.
