Sioux City, IA (KICD)– A Larrabee man has pled guilty to a federal drug charge.

52-year-old Carl Thompson entered the plea on Tuesday on one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine admitting in court that he was involved in a conspiracy with at least six other to distribute more than three pounds of the drug obtained from California and then brought back to Cherokee from December 2019 through last May.

Thompson will be sentenced at a later date and faces the possibility of life in prison and a ten million dollar fine.
