Milford, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Register’s Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa will stay overnight in two corridor communities this year.

The official 2025 route was announced Saturday night. Milford Mayor Steve Anderson called us from the event as soon as it was public.

Anderson says the community has also been a “pass-through” community several times. Now that the route is public, the community will start meeting weekly.

RAGBRAI leaves Orange City July 19th and overnights in Milford, then overnights just down the road in Estherville the next night. Other overnighters are Forest City, Iowa Falls, Cedar Falls, and Oelwein. Organizers say it will be the second shortest ride ever.
