Spencer, IA (KICD)– The Spencer Library is making final preparations for the summer reading program.

Director Sarah Beth Fuchsen tells KICD News this year is going to look a bit different than in the past as the program turns more digital.

While there is a push for kids to take part in the summer reading program, Fuchsen says there are challenges for readers of all ages.

Those preferring to track their reading on paper will still be able to do so. Registration will begin with the kick-off event on Thursday, June 1st from one to six at the Spencer Library.
