The Iowa Farmers Union has invited state legislators and local medical professionals to join a conversation at Listening Sessions across the state to find out what local citizens are thinking and suggestions they might have to fight this battle.
The panel was made up of Representative Megan Jones (R) and Representative Megan Srinivas (D) as well as Dr. David Keith with Clay County Public Health
Linus Solberg from Cylindar, who also serves on the Palo Alto County Board Of Supervisors shared his thoughts with the panel.
Dr. Keith said what he heard during the listening session was what he is hearing from his patients here in Clay County.
Both Jones and Srinivas took notes and assured attendees their concerns and suggestions will go back with them to their committees and subcommittees to help shape future decisions on health issues like cancer.
