Sibley, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — In November 2023, Osceola County voters approved a $5 million bond for The Osceola County Jail in Sibley to make it more accessible, more secure and safer, but initial designs came in above the bond amount, so some adjustments are being made.
Osceola County Sheriff Kevin Wollmuth says despite the adjustments, the construction project is on schedule.
Wollmuth says the jail and improvements should be finished by mid-2026.
