Arnolds Park, IA (KICD) — Today we focus on live entertainment at Arnolds Park during out annual countdown to summer. A new ballroom whose outside resembles the old dance hall was completed three years ago. The history of the Roof Garden will be a major focus this summer.
The Roof Garden was completed during COVID, so live shows got off to a slow start; but Marketing Director Paul Plumb says it’s now well-utilized.
Sales Manager Jean Muggee says the Roof Garden – and other facilities – are also available to rent.
And the “Live at the Lakes” free shows on Preservation Plaza have become a great summer tradition.
Free shows this year include popular cover bands like Arch Allies, Top-fourty recording acts Tommy James and the Shondells and Elle King; Christian artist Steven Curtis Chapman; and even Billy Bob Thornton on the 4th of July.
