Estherville, IA (KICD) — The annual distinguished alumnus award from Iowa Lakes community College goes to 2005 graduate Jeremy Simington, whose family moved to Graettinger when he was in high school.
Simington returned to Graettinger where he currently serves as high school principal. ILCC says he’s brought innovations to that school district.
Simington was also singled out for his volunteer work in the community. Simington says it’s critical – especially in rural America.
Simington was presented the award in person at the recent Iowa lakes Community college commencement.
