Sioux City, IA (KICD)– A North Central Iowa man has been given prison time on a federal drug charge.
35-year-old Joey Post of Thompson pled guilty in February to one count of conspiring to distribute methamphetamine admitting in court that he an others sold more than ten pounds of the drug between July 2020 and last May, including multiple sales to an individual in Swea City that was working with law enforcement.
Post was given eight years behind bars on Tuesday and will be required serve three years on supervised release following the jail term.
