Storm Lake, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The community of Storm Lake was excited to hear that the new Men’s Basketball coach at the University of Iowa is one of their own. St. Mary’s principal Ryan Berg coached and taught Ben McCollum in the 90s.

Berg says the Coach was already an inspiration to students.

Berg sees McCollum’s picture in the trophy case at St. Mary’s Catholic school every day.
