Washington, DC (KICD) — 96 percent of the nation’s intended corn has been planted, up 4 percent from last week. 64 percent is rated good to excellent with 6 percent poor to very poor. 91 percent of beans are in the ground, up 8 percent week over week. In the first condition report on the nation’s bean crop, 62 percent is good to excellent and 7 percent poor to very poor. Brian Gallagher with the Upper Midwest NASS office has the Iowa figures.
