Estherville, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) – The City of Estherville is changing its garbage collection schedule due to a new automated machine.

During the recent City of Estherville Council Meeting, City Administrator Penny Clayton announced that the garbage collection schedule will be reduced from four days to three.

Clayton mentioned that holiday adjustments will be made, with collections moved to alternate days. Residents can expect a calendar and color-coded map to be mailed to them soon. Additional information will also be shared through news releases and social media outlets.
