Storm Lake, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Trail organizations spanning 220 miles in Iowa have recommitted to connecting to each other. Kathy Fueston from Clay County says the last time the group met was in 2013 but met this spring to update each other.
Fueston says the quickest, cheapest route for new trail is going to be highway 71. The group will seek funds for the entire trail and not compete with each other for grant money.
The five-county trail group has also decided to meet quarterly.
