Fostoria, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Clay County Sheriff’s department has charged a 19-year-old Fostoria woman with an assault.

They were called to a residence in Fostoria on the report of a juvenile female suffering from a seizure shortly after 4pm Saturday.

The Deputy says it appears Tatum Wells of Fostoria struck the victim with a vacuum sweeper several times during an altercation and might have caused the seizure. Wells has been charged with assault causing bodily injury.
