Spencer, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — The final vision of the Spencer Hospital Campus is coming into full view with the latest decision in the April 24th Hospital Board of Trustees Meeting. Hospital President Brenda Tiefenthaler.

Tiefenthaler says it’s long been a goal to own the property.

Meyer said ownership exchange should be seamless.

President Tiefenthaler says the emergency room renovations are close to completion, and each day Spencer Hospital continues to improve access to primary care for the region, and it’s a community effort.

Spencer Hospital has focused on the design of the campus, access for patients between departments and providing privacy for patients. The initial quote for the entire project was slated at $21 million, and anticipated completion is expected this year.
