Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Spencer Park and Rec Director Bob Fulhart says the removal of Emerald Ash trees from public property is under budget and ahead of schedule.

Fullhart is trained as a tree specialist and looks forward to repopulating those empty spaces.

Thanks to the foresight and leadership of former city councilman Bill Orrison the city socked away money for tree removal anticipating the arrival of the Emerald Ash Borers here in Clay County.
