Spencer, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — Congratulations to the Graduating Class of 2025, as most area schools are holding ceremonies this weekend. And the Iowa State Patrol understands that means graduation parties, and probably a drink or two. Trooper Kevin Krull says his officers will be looking for impaired driving this weekend.

The Iowa State Patrol reports 80 fatalities already in 2025, and Krull encourages safety and planning ahead for travel this spring and summer.
