Spencer, IA (KICD)– It may seem like summer vacation has just started, but local health officials are already looking to get area students ready for the next academic year.
Darcie Follon from Clay County Public Health tells KICD News now is the time to schedule those back to school immunizations to make sure kids are ready for the first day of class.
So, what are those specific boosters?
To help make immunizations more convenient for families across the area, Clay County Public Health will be offering clinics every Thursday beginning June 29th that will rotate morning and afternoon appointment times. Appointments can be set up on the Spencer Hospital website or by calling 264-6685.
