Spencer, Ia (KICD) – Taking a look at scores over the weekend. On Friday, in interconference softball play, Spirit Lake would sweep Western Christian in a double header 11-0 and 6-2. Estherville Lincoln Central would beat South Hamilton 13-1 in the Kiwanis Tournament in Roland, then lose to Benton 14-0. That was Estherville Lincoln Central’s first loss of the season.

In Lakes Conference Softball action, Spencer beat Storm Lake 4-1. Spencer has now won 5 in a row.

For the Siouxland Conference, Okoboji beat George-Little Rock 13-0.

Twin Lakes Conference Softball had Sioux Central beat Pocahontas Area 12-10.

In War Eagle Softball, Harris-Lake Park lost to Hinton 11-3, Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn topped West Sioux 9-6, and South O’Brien outscored Unity Christian 10-8.
