Milford, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Bids have been awarded for the new Okoboji Elementary school in Milford. Superintendent Todd Abrahamsen says the entire project was bid at 42 million 435 thousand dollars.
That allows the district to consider a couple of optional add-ons.
Abrahamsen hopes the competitive bids on the elementary building means they’ll also get good prices on updates to the high school.
Just in case the high school bids come in overestimates, the cost savings from the elementary can be shifted.
