Cherokee, IA (KICD) — A Cherokee man died in a one vehicle motorcycle accident East of that community Tuesday night. The Sheriff’s department was dispatched to the highway 3 and T Avenue intersection around 5 pm. It appears 75 year old Lawrence Schlichting was Southbound and lost control just before the intersection. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
