Sioux City, IA (KICD)– Two California women have pled guilty in federal court for their role in a Northwest Iowa drug conspiracy.
61-year-old Lauretta Payce and 41-year-old Andrea Romo were both convicted last week admitting in court that they were involved in a scheme to deliver more than a kilogram of methamphetamine to Cherokee from California and Nevada between December 2019 and last May.
Both women will be sentenced at a later date and each face the possibility of life in prison and ten million dollar fine.
