Spirit Lake, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Spirit Lake police say a motorcycle operator received serious injuries in a collision with an SUV Saturday evening.
20-year-old Trinity West of Milford was eastbound on Highway 9 through town when 42-year-old Joshua Gray of Buffalo Center – who was westbound – attempted to turn left onto Keokuk Avenue and struck the motorcycle. Gray was cited for failure to yield. West was transported by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare. The accident occurred around 6:30pm.
