Spencer, IA (KICD)– The Spencer School Board approved a pair of agreements to outside entities on Thursday that will essentially expand programs beyond school walls.
First up was an Interscholastic Activities Agreement with Iowa Great Lakes Lutheran School which Superintendnet Terry Hemann says will go along with planned expansion beginning this Fall.
The Board also approved a formal agreement with the Spencer Chamber of Commerce to continue its Work-Based Learning Coordinator position.
With Alex Drier moving to Spencer Middle School as the Dean of Students, a new Work-Based Learning Coordinator was needed with the job going to Kelly Kuehler who has most recently worked at Spencer High School as a secretary for the activities office.
