Spencer, IA (KICD) — The Clay County Fair Association is actively seeking candidates to serve on the fair board. There board consists of 27 members, of those 27 members, 9 are elected each year to the Executive Board at the annual meeting in October.

CEO Jerome Hertel says anyone who has belonged to the Association for at least a year is eligible, whether or not they live in Clay County. Applications are available at the fair website and should be submitted by August 1st.

You can also join the fair association at any time. The lifetime membership is 100 dollars and makes you a voting member to elect future board members.
