Spencer, IA (KICD) — The winner at the first ever “Art of the Que, Kansas City Barbecue Society” contest in Spencer is Kyle Kruhn  from Hot Daddy’s Barbecue in Minnesota. In order to win he had to prepare ribs, chicken, brisket, and pork butt.

Kruhn has competed in competitions as far away as Oklahoma and says “Art of the Que” is one of the best organized contests he’s entered, and the Clay County Fairgrounds was by far the best venue.
