Milford, IA (KICD)– We reported last week on a proposed housing project on the western side of Milford could potentially include a new elementary building for Okoboji Schools that could help benefit the community.

Drew Hage is a member of the Strategic Going Committee for the South Okoboji Development. He tells KICD News adding the housing options in and of itself is a benefit for Milford but so is the amount of extra income that would come from tax revenue.

Another benefit when it comes to numbers if this project goes through would be the fact that the City of Milford would not have any initial money physically going to the work.
