Sibley, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – Sibley-Ocheyedan hosted South O’Brien for Class A District 1 play.

It was all Generals all night long, as Sibley-Ocheyedan rolled to a 42-7 route. Sibley-Ocheyedan rushed for 380 yards on 48 carries, scoring 5 Touchdowns on the Ground. Dominic Marco had 178 of those yards with two Touchdowns. Hunter Kauffmann also eclipsed the century mark with 121 yards and two Touchdowns.

South O’Brien could only muster 140 yards of Total offense, 115 of those yards coming through the air. Brody Van Beek caught 3 passes for 76 yards and a Touchdown on the night.

The Wolverines fall to 1-3 on the year and 0-3 in District play. Up next on the schedule for South O’Brien is a homecoming contest against Sioux Central.

Now at 2-2 on the season, the Generals have their work cut-out for them in Marcus as they take on Class A #3 MMCRU.
