MILFORD, IA (NorthwestIowaNow) – The Milford City Council has approved the sale of the Old City Hall building after receiving multiple bids.

Announced during Milford’s regular city council meeting Monday night, the property drew three offers, with the highest bid coming from Sibley Sheet Metal at $179,900.

Milford Mayor Steve Anderson says city officials were satisfied with the offer, despite it being below the original appraisal price.

The future use of the building is still unknown and has not yet been disclosed by the buyer.
