Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — It’s up to the public now whether or not a splashpad is constructed in Spencer. Park Board member Joe Yarkowski says the city has earmarked over half of the total, but the half million-dollar private fundraiser has now officially kicked off.

Yarkowski hopes that the individuals and service clubs that expressed interest in donating in the past now come forward.
