Armstrong, IA (KICD)– Court proceedings for three former Armstrong city officials facing criminal charges have been pushed back.

Online court records show a hearing was held last week for former Mayor Greg Buum, City Clerk Connie Thackery and Police Chief Craig Merril who are all accused of various crimes more than two years ago following an investigation by the State Auditor’s Office.

All three individuals are scheduled for another hearing on their case in December.

Two others in the case, former clerks Tracie Lang and Mary “Kate” Staton pled guilty to charges filed against them.
