The Clay County Health Update this weekend featured KC Kidd from Spencer Hospital, and she shared some startling facts:

Kidd is a Registered Nurse and Women’s Health Coordinator at Spencer Hospital. Breast Cancer risks increase several ways: genetic, lifestyle-related, and sometimes hormone replacement therapy after menopause, or birth control methods.

As Breast Cancer Awareness month continues, Kidd stresses the importance of early detection.
