Des Moines, IA (KICD)– Governor Kim Reynolds has announced her appointment to fill an opening for a judge in a district serving Pocahontas County in the local area.

Ashley Beisch was given the role of District Asociate Judge in Judicial Election District 2B on Friday.

Beisch currently serves as Assistant County County Attorney in Webster County and received both her undergraduate and law degrees from Drake University Law School.

Beisch fills a vacancy created by the retirement of District Associate Judge james Malloy.
