Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The application for Spencer Mainstreet Micr0-Grants has opened.

Mainstreet Director Nancy Naeve says the city donates 20 thousand dollars a year to help start, renovate, or expand businesses in the Mainstreet area. The other 20 grand comes from fundraisers.

The Spencer Mainstreet Micro-Grant program began in 2023, and this will be the 6th set of grants awarded. Visit the Spencer Mainstreet Website for more information.
