St. Paul, MN (KICD)– Recreational marijuana officially became legal in Minnesota on Tuesday and hundreds of people were reportedly lined up at the state’s first retail dispensery on the Red Lake Reservation.

WCCO-TV in the Twin Cities reports Minnesotans can now have up to two pounds of cannabis flower in their homes and transport up to two ounces in public, but addtional retail sales in most places will take a while longer because the licensing process is still very new.

Minnesota is the 23rd state to make marijuana legal for recreational use.
