Estherville, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — Any chance you have to see world-class entertainment should be considered seriously, as the chances do not come often in Northwest Iowa. Now you have a chance to see a Eden Ehm at the opening production of the Estherville Performing Arts Series, sponsored by Iowa Lakes Community College. Jessica Strom helps plan each season, and said Ehm was a natural choice.
Ehm is one of North America’s best young FIDDLERS, and is bringing her Hardanger fiddle Thursday October 23 at 7 pm. Ehm is a Decorah Iowa native, and has played for the King and Queen of Norway, and regularly appears at Scandinavian festivals around the country. Her specialty is Hardanger fiddle. Strom explained the significance.
Strom says students and children get free admission, and tickets are $15 for adults. The Eden Ehm concert, Thursday, October 23 at 7 pm at the Janice K. Lund Performing Arts Center.
