Spencer, IA (KICD)– Spencer Community Theatre is entering into a transitional phase with the resignation of its Executive Director.

The Board of Directors accepted the resignation of Liz McNea last week after working and volunteering in a number of capacities over several stints beginning in 2006 leading up to her most recent role beginning in 2019. Her last official day will be August 11th.

SCT is beginning the process of finding both an interim and full time Executive Director, but beginning August 12th until a hire is made, office hours will be reduced to Tuesday through Thursday from 1-5 p.m. or by appointment to align with hours at the Costume Shop.
