Sibley, IA (KICD)– Voters in Oseceola County decided last week to keep the way its Board of Supervisors is laid out the same as it is now.

The special election last Tuesday asked those going to polls if they would want to go away from mandating that the elected officials live within the district they are representing with more than 62 percent saying they want keep things as they are.

Another 36 percent voted in favor of having districts, but the elected officials would be selected on an “at large” idea meaning they would be chosen by all voters of the county.
