Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — In response to a perceived local need, RIDES Regional Transit Authority will be offering free rides to food banks beginning Wednesday.

Associate Director Cindy Voss got the idea when she was listening to KICD News last week.

RIDES currently offers taxi service in Spencer, most of the Lakes, Estherville, Emmetsburg, Sheldon, Storm Lake, and Alta.
