Spirit Lake, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com —  The holiday season officially begins in Spirit Lake on Shop Small Saturday.  The Spirit Lake Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Holiday Window Lighting event and Chamber Director Krista Smith promises family fun and some surprises!

Santa will make his grand entrance on a fire truck, leading right up to the moment the city lights officially turn on at five o’clock.

Chamber officials say businesses across town have gotten creative with their window decorating this year.
