Estherville, IA (KICD)– Iowa Lakes Electric Cooperative has a new leader starting Monday.

Ryan Craig is very familiar with the ILEC service area and Northwest Iowa having grown up in Northwest Iowa and since then served in a number of different positions with the energy industry.

Craig says it really comes down community outreach that led to him wanting to join the Iowa Lakes family.

As far as goals for his new job, Craig tells KICD News he is not looking to come in and make a lot of changes right away.

Iowa Lakes Electric Cooperative serves more 13 thousand members and maintains 48 hundred miles of distribution line in Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, Palo Alto and Pocahontas Counties.
