Estherville, IA (KICD)– A Drinking Water Advisory issued over the weekend for a portion of Estherville has been lifted as of late Monday morning.

The advisory was issued after a break in a water main was discovered leading to part of the system being depressurized for a period of time.

Crews were able to make needed repairs and re-charge line fairly quickly, but had to await the results of bacteria samples before the advisory could be lifted.
