RUTHVEN, IA (Northwestiowa) – Ruthven is under a boil water advisory after a water line near the city’s water plant ruptured early this morning, December 25.

City officials say crews are working to make repairs, but there’s no estimate yet on when service will be fully restored.

Residents should boil water before drinking or cooking until the advisory is lifted.
