Spencer, IA (KICD)– Clay County authorities are seeking public assistance in finding a vehicle involved in a weekend incident on the north side of Spencer.

Emergency crews were called to the 2200 mile 320th Street, just east of the “North Y” shortly after three o’clock Saturday afternoon where 32-year-old Nicole Neiderhiser was found to have left the roadway while eastbound on a motorcycle in attempt to avoid a collision with a westbound vehicle said to have been traveling in the eastbound lane.

Neiderhiser sustained minor injuries when the motorcycle tipped onto its side after hitting some clums of dirt.

The second driver, described as a younger blonde-haired male, is to have left the scene and continued west on Highway 18. The vehicle is described as a black buick. Anyone with infomation is asked to contact the Clay County Sheriff’s Office at 262-3221.
