Spencer, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — The Spencer Chamber of Commerce is shaking up the menu for its upcoming legislative forums.

Officials announced this week that Eggs and Issues sessions will move to a new two-part format to better bridge the gap between Clay County and Des Moines.  The first half of each meeting will now focus on a specific policy topic, followed by dedicated question and answer session from the public.

Sheriffa Jones says the goal is to ensure state legislators leave with a deeper understanding of how capital decisions affect local realities.

The next Eggs and Issues event is scheduled for February 21, with the final forum on Saturday March 28. Location is Council Chambers of Spencer City Hall, and you can submit questions before the forum by dropping them at the Chamber office.
