Everly, IA (KICD) — A heavily-traveled highway in Clay County is undergoing some roadwork that will slow traffic for several weeks. The Clay County Engineer’s office says full-depth removal on M-27 between Everly and Royal has begun. Motorists should be aware traffic might be restricted to one lane at times, closed at others, and that there will be drop-offs and holes along that stretch. Starting September 14th the road will be closed as crews pour cement and let it cure for several days. The intersections will remain open until resurfacing begins.
