Estherville, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — The Emmet County Board of Supervisors has scheduled a public hearing to discuss potential changes to the county’s wind energy regulations. The meeting is set for Thursday, February 26 at 7 pm at Iowa Lakes Community College in Estherville.
The primary purpose of the hearing is to review a recommended ammendment to the Wind Energy Regulations within the 2013 Emmet County Zoning Ordinance. There will be presentations from the Zoning Administrator and the Planning and Zoning Commission talking about why the changes are recommended.
Members of the public are invited to speak, with a limit of three minutes per person. The meeting is in Room 16 in the Lecture Auditorium. There is also a public Zoom meeting link to follow.
