Estherville, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — An investigation into Iowa Lakes Community College’s financial practices has concluded with NO findings of intentional misconduct.

The special review was requested by the U.S. Department of Education, and it examined over $16 million in institutional grants and 14 terms of federal student aid compliance between 2019 and 2024.

During the five-year period reviewed, ILCC served 13,750 students and distributed more than $24.8 million in federal aid. ILCC has released a statement from President Scott Stokes.

The Board of Trustees President Arden Kinnander added that the board maintains “full confidence” in the institution’s leadership.
